Warriors of Dawn
At the time, not many cats knew what the clans were. Some came from old clans that faded away, but most were loners or past kittypets who were searching for a place to call home. They all mingled and began to gather, introducing themselves in hopes of finding friendship and trust. Small traveling bands started to form.
However, it wasn't until the storms raged through the lands that each cat learned who they could and couldn't trust. Thunderstorms, fires, floods, and pelting rain nearly destroyed the terrain that the cats had started to call home. Desperate to find shelter, the rogue cats all split off into four groups, each one taking refuge in what soon would become their clan camps.
Each one united under different names and under different circumstances. Starclan called forth one cat in each clan to take over as leader, and they are as follows...
Thunderclan: Adderstar
Shadowclan: Crowstar
Windclan: Duskstar
Riverclan: Heatherstar
The clans now stand at a crossroads, as borders as disputed and members are recruited. Rules have yet to be set in place. Customs and traditions are being created as we speak. The only question is...
What's next?
**UPDATE**
As of right now, the plotline may seem a little slow. However, when we do finally get our own map, we will be rp'ing the reasons that the clans all have to move. Here are some current ideas:
-green cough
-droughts
-scarce prey
Hello everyone! As of right now, we are still figuring out the current plotline for the rp. The staff had many great ideas that unfortunately were squandered when another group rolled into FH (coughTFA >.>)
To help alleviate some questions, here is what the clans are currently dealing with:
-Borders & a Gathering space have yet to be figured out
-Medicine cats need to be found, since there's only 1 at the moment
-Many cats are unfamiliar with clan customs & traditions since they came from kittypet/loner lives
-There is a lot of tension & distress among cats due to their clanmates disappearing and/or leaving without a trace
Here are some potential plot ideas staff have been discussing:
-Using flowers as a symbol of peace & prosperity or for ceremonies/gatherings
~expecting queens wear the prettiest flowers in the territory
~leaders wear crowns, deputies wear something around the wrist, meddies wear herbal necklaces or berries
~certain flowers show personality traits (thorns for meaner cats, delicate flowers for gentler cats)
~toms wear grass/vines/weeds if they don't want flowers
~pattern and/or rarity of the flowers are symbolic to status (leaders get brighter flowers than warriors)
-Having mate ceremonies (somewhat like a wedding)
*We are looking for ideas on other types of ceremonies & festivals!
-There is a bacterial outbreak among the clans
(this idea can't be explored until all the clans have a meddie!)
-During a "baby boom", cats are plucked from the forest during patrols, spayed/neutered, and returned
-Twolegs put poison in food to lure pests and the clan cats get ahold of it; an outbreak happens and no one understands until the leaders talk through it
~a kittypet is sent to investigate
This particular idea is for wayyy in the future.
-One of the clans is destroyed by a rogue group & someone eventually rallies them to remake the clan
In the meantime...
~leader/deputy/meddie is killed & leaves the clan in disarray
~they split up to find shelter, believing Starclan to be guiding them...
and the Dark Forest cats show up instead
~the original Dark Forest leader shows up
--Shadowclan's medicine cat is named Bee, and there is a canon DF cat named Bee. We tossed around the idea of her being nervous all the time because she's suppressing memories of the Dark Forest OR that SC Bee is DF Bee reincarnated--
