Background:
Jasper was born on a farm into a loving family of kittypets. However, his irritation of twolegs and his desire explore made him very unhappy there. Despite his parents begging him to stay, Jasper wanted to leave the day he was old enough.
11 months after he was born, the barn caught fire. Jasper's entire family was trapped inside, though he was able to escape and rescue a stranger kitten on his way out. Not knowing the first thing about taking care of a kit, Jasper struggled to keep the hostile youngster under control. He gave up a few months later, and didn't bother searching when the kitten ran off from him.
Relieved at no longer being burdened, Jasper evolved a newfound curiosity for his surroundings, and set off to explore the forest he now lived in. He loved the freedom of doing whatever he liked, whenever he liked, and found great fun in pestering the females of the nearby clans. He particularly enjoyed flirting with Redthorn and Poisonfang of DebrisClan, being completely oblivious to the disposition of their leader, Yewstar.
After a short while, Jasper met a female rogue in his exploration named Fendi, and the two quickly found a playful companionship with each other. Jasper later discovered that Fendi had lived on the same farm he had, but had stayed indoors instead of the barn. She told him that when the barn caught fire, the twolegs had panicked, and she'd been left behind in their escape. The two of them learned to hunt and fish together, and Jasper was surprised at himself when he started falling for her.
One day, during one of his flirting attempts with Redthorn, Jasper was approached by Yewstar. The false smile and malicious intent from the cat immediately put the rogue on edge, and he felt a creeping fear trickling down his spine. The towering cat that walked next to Yewstar looked somewhat familiar to Jasper, but he had little time to think about it as the DebrisClan leader attacked him seconds later. A fierce battle broke out between the rogue and the leader, during which Fendi came looking for Jasper. To teach the rogue male a lesson, Yewstar had two of his biggest Warriors pin Jasper down, and then ripped open Fendi's throat with his own teeth. Already beaten and torn up, Jasper was forced to watch his only friend bleed to death before the sadistic leader released him. Yewstar warned him that the same punishment would come upon Jasper if he ever entered DebrisClan territory again.
Brokenhearted and weary from battle, Jasper dragged himself away to hide deep within neutral territory. He remained there for a long time, barely able to survive on his own without the proper treatment. Purely by luck, the TundraClan medicine cat, Willowtail, happened to find Jasper one day. After hearing his story, the medicine cat took mercy on the rogue and brought him back to her clan's territory to treat him. Wolfstar questioned Willowtail about her actions, and after she explained Jasper's story, he allowed the rogue to stay for a week until he was healed.
Much to Jasper's dismay, the three clans dissolved not long after due to the leaders all disappearing. Different clans came to take their place, and Jasper was slightly surprised to see the familiar Warrior's face again.
If approached by a clan cat, Jasper will be highly flirtatious, but if anyone asks questions about himself, he will avoid answering them like the plague. He does long to be part of a family again, but after witnessing Fendi's death at the claws of a clan leader, he has a very hard time trusting any clan cats. If approached by another rogue, Jasper will be dismissive and will hold back from any sort of connection, since he doesn't want to get close to anyone only to lose them again.
