This guide is to help you use a preset you've made/downloaded, and share it with others. In this guide, I'll be using a calico preset that is free for use.
If you're downloading a preset, you just drag and replace the files in the .zip into whichever preset folder it calls for. For example, this preset calls for the "preset_1" folder. That folder is occupied for me, so I have to change the numbers in the .materials file and rename the .png files themselves.
^^^ This only applies to those that require it
When this is done, load up your game go through Creative Den > Preset Maker You will be greeted with this screen.
After this select the preset number that corresponds with the preset folder you have your files in.
You should now see your preset on the character model! Optional, but helpful: You might want to make sure if the mane works or not (depending on whether or not you have one)
Mine's working, so all I have to do is export it! Go to the last tab, and click the "Export" button.
Your .fhp file has now been exported! Login to your account, create a new/edit a prexisting character, and go to the last tab. Select the preset number that corresponds with the preset file your files are in.
You've completed Part 1, using your preset! It is now viewable in game by you. But now, others need to see it.
Just grab your .fhp file from the presets folder, and upload it to MediaFire or Dropbox. Whichever you prefer. You'll need a MediaFire account, upload it to your files, copy the link, and post it in the comment section of the PRESETS DOWNLOAD THREAD like this:
[name] [clan character is in/outsider] [preset download url]
Then there you go! Others will download your preset and will be able to see it. If you want to put a link to it in your in game bio, take the link and input it into tinyurl and type in the link it gives you into your in game bio. Does the same thing!
