Alright, here is where I'll be posting Cindercloud and Minnowfoot's past. I will be making it as accurate as possible. I will release what I've done so far and post a chapter or paragraph every week or two. Thanks for reading, hope you enjoy!!
A peaceful morning of New-Leaf brought three new lives that hatched. One by one, the mother of the kits would groom them after going into labor. These kits wildly mewed in search of feeding. A gray tom sat behind the new mother, proud of what the two had become. The dew was delightful, followed by the singing among the waving trees. Scents of all kinds approached, but most importantly, the smell of newborns.
6 Moons Later
"Dad! What did you catch this time?" A light pelted tom would chime to his father, looking at the lump of prey in his maw. "Can we eat it yet?!" A young, dark coated female would playfully bounce up. Setting the meal down infront of the queen, he spoke, "You're going to have to let your mother eat first," he nudged the vile closer to the she-cat. It was mid-day with the sun beating down on the trees, revealing its rays through peaks of leaves. A small mew came from a smaller kit, who seemed to hide behind her mother. "Where is Blu?" The tom glanced around sarcastically, playing along with the kit. "Boo!" Blu leaped onto her mothers stomach as she was laying her body down. "Oh, you stardled me!" He fell over onto his back as the kit lunged at him, forcing herself onto his chest. "Bow down to me! Mwuahahahaha!" She gave an evil laugh before becoming spooked by her sibling's sudden attack. A loud yowl would come from Blu as her brother knocked her onto her back. "No! I'm the all mighty king!" He puffed his chest, not realising his sibling was trying to grasp air back into her lungs. "Be careful, Birch! Females are fragile, some anyway." He pulled the young tom from pinning his sister. "Hey! I'm not fragile!" She growled after gaining her breath. "It's okay to be sensitive, dear," Blu's mother nudged her rump, causing her to jerk herself to her mother's attention. The sun slowly fell upon the horizon, causing a splatter of oranges, blues, and purples all across the shifting sky. "Kits! Time for rest!" She called out. The kits scrambled there way into a nest, getting into positions around their mother. Slowly, theh all curled on one another and purred themselves to dream.
2 Moons later
"You can't go, they need you. I. Need you." Whispers outside of the hollowed log rang into Blu's ears. Her mother spoke in tears. "I can bring you with me. The kits too." They seemed to be talking 7 tail lengths away, far enough for the kits not to be awoken. But Blu knew it meant something bad. She lifted her head to look at her sleeping littermates. "You can't abandone freedom for captivity. I am NOT putting them into that situation, and you know that, Boulder." Their mother aggressively spoke through her clamped jaws. "I have to go, Raven." Boulder, the father of the three was giving an irritable tone. "You promised me. You said you'd be there for me AN--" She was quickly interrupted by the tom's vocals. "Promises aren't always kept, Raven. You, of all cats, should know that by now." He snapped, getting louder. "Say good-bye and leave already." Her tone filled with a mixture of sorrow and anger. The tom instantly regreted his speech. He made his way to the hallowed out log, stopping to glare back at his mate. Blue quickly acted like she was asleep, for she would be put into trouble if not. Her father approached the interrior, leaning down to the kits to say farewell. But instead, he just stared. Without a word, he made his way back to Raven. "Look, the Twolegs will provide everythi--"
"Get out of my sight, Boulder." She hissed. It was the end. This loud hiss made Blu pop her small head from the nest with a small whimper. Boulder padded into the undergrowth with his head hung low. Goodbye.
1 Moons later
Raven grew thin and frail, as her kits did. "I must." She nodded to herself. "Do you kits remember your fathers teachings of the Clan Life?" She would ask while grooming the few. "Yeah! I want to lead my own clan someday!" Tiny chirped before be covered in a cleansing lick. The bunch were purring. But soon enough, Raven planned. "Come with me. We're going to travel" She said to her kits. She leaned in to pick up the smaller kit, Blu. And swiftly, she faded into the tall grass with her kits.
Two weeks later
Raven could barely walk on, but the sound of water made her push on. Rivers marked the scents of RiverClan. Quickly, Raven reached the outskirts of this camp, where she set her kits at the edge of the water. A yowl would burst out of her chest to attract attention. Swiftly, Raven fled the scene to leave her kits. Blue and Birch playfully played on the shore before pushing eachother into the water. A tom approached, seeing the incident. He leaped into the water, slithing like a snake to grab Blue by the scruff. The current yanked him downstream, along with debris that was tugged. A storm slowly occured, letting out strong gusts of wind and downpour. Tiny mewed in fear as her littermates were being pulled into the depths of danger. The clancat reached the bay, pulling himself up to the other kit. "Stay here," He said before bringing Blue to the other shoreline. Gently setting the kit down, he would leap back to the otherside, catching himself in the powerful water. Tiny stood there in fear. The tom grasped onto the small offspring only to repeat his last manner and retreat them into camp.
"Please, wait here you two." He nudged Blu as she was in mental shock. He placed them in a warm den where other cats with kittens rested. Quickly, the tom paced to another den, staying in for only 6 minutes. When time ran out, he took it upon himself to bring their leader to them. "Oh, you poor kits," She mewed, glaring down at them. "We will keep them until their mother is found" She nodded to the tom before the female turned her back on them. "For now, we rest." She paced back to the smaller den that she exited before. "Patchstar, wait." He caught ahold of the feline before she lead herself to her nest. Small chatter came from the two just before they paused, looking over to the two kits who sat in the entrance of the nursery. Nodding, the leader faded into the shadows, almost like her existance disappeared. "You will rest with the others." Her softly gazed down at the two before gesturing over to the other queens who held kits of their own.
As the tom left to sleep, Blu paced to the far corner to plop and face it. Tiny followed, curling up to her sister to fall into their dreams.
The Following Morning
Rapidstreak would give a loud chuckle to the blue eyed cat. "You sure do have a sense of humor." He lightly spoke before gazing to the back of the den, just as Tiny woke abruptly. "Hey! She's awake. Spill it!" She gave emphasis on her last comment. Blu woke before Tiny, giving Rapid the chance of meeting the kit. He told her that he needed a word with both of them, news for their relatives. Sighing, he gestured Tiny to him, "I don't know how to say this..." He paused, waiting for Tiny to get closer. "We took a patrol at Dawn, looking for your mother. I found your brother, I'm sorry to say that he rests with StarClan." Blu looked up in confusion. She knew it meant bad, but her father didn't tell too much about the Clan life. "He's dead." His head hung low as terror fell upon their expressions. He looked at their sudden expression, expecting horrific screams and tears. Tiny snapped instantly. Her legs wobbled as her eyes swelled, tears streaming down her cheeks like the stong currents of the river thag took Birch's life. On the other hand, Blu would stare. Her face dropped from her excitement, but didn't seem as bad as her sister's reaction. She nearly went limp, her lips moving with no words to provide. "It's my fault" Blankly, she would stare directly infront of her, no matter what was plooped there. Her mind switched to thaought, skipping reality for a few beats to collect her thoughts. She was horrified, she couldn't express it just as her sister did. Quickly, she fell back, falling into the den. The others didn't speak, they only glared. Every patch of eyes would slowly puncture the kit, making her mental thought break down more than before. She stumbled off a nest and to the far corner of dust, placing her snout directly in the corner. She was sobbing. Her coping skills were definately something on her weak side. She slowly began to cry, whimpering lightly to where no one could hear. Tiny sat outside of the den still screeching in complete pain. Everything lost. Except-- each other.
