Blossom was born from a kittypet named Bengal in a rich twoleg nest. They pampered her and treated her with care and love. She developed a liking for a tom cat named Budock, and confused it with love, eventually becoming his mate and pregnant with his kits. The day she was going to tell him, she caught him with another white she-cat. They had a fight which costed Budock his left eye and ran away back to her twolegs.
When the twolegs found out she was going to have kittens, they threw her off on a thunderpath and left her there. She desperately fought to survive, she learned to fish and hunt on land as well to feed herself and the kits in her belly.
She gave birth on the day of the Great Storm, on a den like tree, leaving when it was getting calmer to hunt for food. When she came back, a kit was missing and the other two were dead.
She then joined a group of cats and hearing about the 'clans' and the names of the other cats, deciding to rename herself Peachblossom, as a symbol of leaving- and despising- her kittypet life and accepting the ways of a wild cat.
